Dental Implants
No tooth? No problem.
Dental implants are a conservative and predictable replacement for single or multiple missing teeth. The dental implant acts as an artificial “root” that we screw a tooth (crown) into.
What are implants?
Dental implants are used as a replacement for a missing tooth or a failing tooth that can no longer be restored. It generally involved three parts - the implant itself, the abutment, and the crown. The implant acts as the “root” and the abutment & crown act as your tooth. Together those parts give you the feel, function, and esthetics of a natural tooth.
Benefits of dental implants:
They look and feel like natural teeth
A permanent solution that allows you to eat, chew, and clean with ease (unlike a bridge or denture)
No need to drill down surrounding teeth as compared to a dental bridge
Long-lasting when cleaned properly
