In-office whitening

In-office teeth whitening takes place during a dental appointment. Dr. Salha and his team will apply a whitening gel to the surface of your teeth and use a special lamp to speed up the bleaching process. The entire office visit generally takes about two hours and provides immediate results.

Internal Bleaching

Internal bleaching is a procedure to whiten a “dead” tooth. When a tooth “dies” it generally changes to a dark gray color. This usually occurs when the tooth has been traumatized in the past and has had a root canal. Dr. Salha has the skills necessary to take your dark tooth and match it to the rest of your teeth.

This professional teeth whitening option uses custom-made trays. The whitening gel contains carbamide peroxide, which breaks down hydroxyradicals to help whiten stained teeth. Unlike strips, this process whitens all your natural teeth and may contain ingredients intended to provide maximum comfort. This process generally takes 10 to 14 days, although you may notice results in as little as 3 to 5 days.
